Summer's Gone!!!

Well, today is Tate's first day back to school. The kids don't come until Monday, but such is a a teachers life ;) Ryker and Risalyn start back up tomorrow morning and Roman and I will have a bit of a break until September. We are working on him learning to write his name before pre-school. Ms. Jennie brought him a great name practicing tool and marker!

So, since the summer has flown by and I haven't had an opportunity to update the blog, I'll share a quick recap:
June- Not too much happened. Tate and I went to Lewiston for his school...kids got a horrible case of the flu, quick trip to Utah early school clothes shopping.Grandpa Orgill passed away.
July- Tons of yard work and gardening. Risalyn turned 8 years old. I felt so bad because we were so busy with everything that she missed out on a birthday party :( My brother Jade announced his engagement to long time girl Erika.
August-Risalyn gets baptized. Roman turns 4 and has party at Leo's. I changed my major to Psychology with a minor in Sociology. Still planning on graduating next December.

Garden grew great this year. We were blessed with potatoes, peas, beans, tomatoes, and Tate's peppers are his pride and joy. He made the jalapenos into poppers which everyone enjoyed! We are still waiting on the corn verdict!!!
We also got to spend great time with cousins and family. The time just flew away from us.

Disney Madness

Well, we have been home for almost a month now and I know I have been awful and not put anything up from our fantastic trip. It was soo much fun and everyday Roman asks if we can go back. I'm all for it! Other than the rain, we had such an amazing time there. We have never really done anything like that with the kids. They got to go on their first airplane rides, first time to Disney anything, and first time to be gone from home for a week. Although we took about 300 photos, I just quickly put together a slide show at the bottom of the blog to show off some of the festivities. Enjoy!
